Small Grants

Open to clinical research nurses, clinical research/trial co-ordinators, clinical research support staff or data managers working in the field of clinical research based in Scotland.

The small grants (maximum £150) are awarded to individuals presenting at a conference (oral or poster). Funding can be applied for any costs associated with attending the conference (e.g. poster, travel, accommodation and conference fees.

Applicants must submit their applications by email by 1st February, 1st May, 1st August & 1st November annually.

SRNCN Small Grants - Awarded 2015/16 Polly Black, Senior Research Nurse, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh A Small Grant of £150 was awarded to towards travels costs to attend the International Emergency Nurse Conference in Barcelona (September 2016) to present the results of her research project.

SRNCN Small Grants - Awarded January 2016 Gosha Wojcik, Critical Care Research Nurse, Edinburgh. A Small Grant of £150 was awarded to supplement travel costs to attend the 36th International Symposium on Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine to present her research project 'A comparison of two ventilator associated pneumonia surveillance techniques'.
